Ian Seducing All In Sight On ‘Vampire Diaries’ Set—What About Nina Dobrev?

Ian Somerhalder and girlfriend Nina Dobrev have been hard at work in Atlanta filming the new season of The Vampire Diaries. However, the lovebirds may have one big problem, Ian can’t stop seducing everything in sight!

Don’t worry fans, Somerhalder says it’s only his Vampire Diaries character, Damon Salvatore, that’s misbehaving. He’s not betraying Dobrev!

“Sunday morn. Working on #tvd scenes for the week. Weekends: I’m a good brother, animal dad, son – weekdays? I’m a prick vampire seducing all in sight,” Ian tweeted about himself, and on-screen alter ego, Damon.

However, Somerhalder and his character may not be so different after all. They are both bad boys with a heart of gold, devilishly handsome, and of course, are in love with Nina Dobrev!

Fans are looking forward to seeing Ian Somerhalder as Damon Salavatore when the new season of The Vampire Diaries returns to the CW on October 11th. Are you excited?

TVD Scoop: Ian Teases The Return Of Bad Boy Damon” He’s Not Pining!”

Just call The Vampire Diaries‘ fourth season the season of no pine and hot vampire sex!

(Go ahead, squeal. We’ll wait.)

Well, that’s what you can call it if Ian Somerhalder is to be believed. And really: Is that the face of a man who’d lie to you? We didn’t think so!

We caught up with Ian and costar Nina Dobrev at Comic-Con to discuss what’s ahead for one of TV’s hottest non-couples (hey, they technically haven’t dated yet!) and Damon’s new attitude in season four.

Sorry, Delena fans, but don’t expect Damon to keep making moon eyes at Elena. Can you blame the guy? She did choose his brother in the finale.

“She chose Stefan (Paul Wesley), so I’m sure there’s some hot vamp sex there,” Ian jokes. “When she gets tired of Stefan, who knows? Maybe she’ll come to Damon?” (We bet that statement just launched a thousand Tumblr posts.)

“[Damon]’s not going to be pining. This is the season of no pine…Seasons two and three, he did everything they wanted him to do. He tried to be the person they wanted him to be. Guess what? None of it worked,” Ian says.

“He’s basically saying now, ‘This is who I am. Like it or not, for lack of better words—there’s no studio executives around, right?—go f–k yourself. Seriously, if you don’t like who I am, you have no business being in my face so get out of it.’ This year he has this sense of self-worth and saying, ‘You know what? I’ve been around a long time and you guys are a bunch of morons. This is me.'”

‘The Vampire Diaries’ At Comic-Con: Nina, Ian And More Talk Season 4

The cast of The CW’s hit show “The Vampire Diaries” — Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley, Zach Roerig, Michael Trevino, Steven R. McQueen and executive proudcers Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson — were on hand at Comic-Con on Saturday to dish about Season 4 of the blood-sucking teen drama.

“The Vampire Diaries” Season 4 has been shooting for a week, Williamson revealed, and the cast was ready to talk about where the season is headed, who will be back and what’s different in the “season of change,” as Williamson referred to it.

Season 3 of “The Vampire Diaries” ended with the shocking reveal that Elena (Dobrev) has been turned into a vampire. “It’s gonna be hard to make Elena different from Katherine,” Dobrev told the Comic-Con audience said of her vampire doppleganger. “It’s gonna be tricky.”

Somerhalder hinted that his character Damon will return to his evil ways in Season 4. “Damon is not a nice guy,” Somerhalder told the Comic-Con crowd of his character’s attempts to be kinder in Season 3. “This year, he said, ‘I did everything you wanted me to do. I tried everything you wanted me to try, and you know what? It didn’t work … This is who I am, if you don’t like it, you can go bleep yourself.”

When Williamson, who served as a moderator for “The Vampire Diaries” Comic-Con panel, asked about who the cast would want their characters to be romantically linked to, Roerig joked that he wanted to see his character Matt and Sheriff Forbes get together, while Wesley said he wants Stefan to “jump in bed with Elijah.”

Will we be seeing Katherine in Season 4? Plec said “not until Klaus is no longer a threat.”

What about Alaric since Matt Davis left for his upcoming CW series “Cult”? “We certainly don’t like living in a world without Matt Davis,” Plec responded, noting that hi contract with his new show would in fact allow him to make an appearance.
